# Lesson plan generator

> Create standards-aligned lesson plans for any subject and grade level

The lesson plan generator creates comprehensive, standards-aligned lesson plans that you can customize and export.

## How to generate a lesson plan

1. Go to **Dashboard** → **Tools** → **Lesson Plan**
2. Fill in the following:
   * **Grade level** — Pre-K through College
   * **Topic** — The subject or learning topic
   * **Standard** — Educational standard to align with (e.g., CCSS, state standards)
   * **Learning objective** — What students should learn
   * **Language** — Output language
3. Click **Generate**
4. Review and edit the generated plan
5. Export as PDF, Google Doc, or copy to clipboard

## What's included in a generated lesson plan

Each lesson plan contains:

* **Learning objectives** — Clear, measurable goals aligned with your selected standards
* **Materials and resources** — Everything needed for the lesson
* **Lesson procedures** — Step-by-step teaching instructions with time allocations
* **Assessment strategies** — How to evaluate student understanding
* **Differentiation strategies** — Adaptations for diverse learners
* **Extension activities** — Additional work for students who finish early
* **Standards alignment** — Mapped to Common Core, state standards, Ontario curriculum, Florida standards, or custom frameworks
* **Bloom's taxonomy levels** — Cognitive level of each activity
* **Success criteria** — Clear indicators of student mastery

## Supported standards frameworks
